Global list details
Details that define and describe the global list
You can add or update global lists through Settings > Data models > Global lists.
Backoffice name
The name this attribute should be displayed by within the backoffice.
Alias
A unique alias for the attribute.
Backoffice description
A description to display along with the attribute when shown in the backoffice.
Display name
A display name to use when this attribute is displayed in any channel outside of PIM.
Data type
The data type of the attribute.
Depending on the chosen data type more options will be available. Read about these options here: Data type details
Available in apps
The apps in which the global list should be available for users.
Folder
The folder in which the global list should be placed.
Default columns
Select which part(s) of the data model to show in the overview page for values of this global list. If left empty, every part of the model is considered as default columns.
Key definition
Select which part(s) of the data model to use as key for global list values. If left empty, every part of the model is considered as key.
Key is case insensitive
Determines whether keys are case insensitive. Enable this if key should act as case insensitive.
Requires sorting
Determines whether values must be sorted upon creation. If true, the user must sort the item as part of the creation process.
View permission
Select the permission required to view values of this global list.
Create permission
Select the permission required to create values for this global list.
Edit permission
Select the permission required to edit values in this global list.
Delete permission
Select the permission required to delete values of this global list.
