Business rules

Business rules can help automate processes within the system.

You can create or edit business rules through Settings > Data governance > Business rules.

View business rule

Business rules are shown directly in the business rules page.

Find business rule

  1. Click column header for Name, Trigger name or others.

  2. Type value to search for

Add a new business rule

  1. Click "+ Create business rule"

  2. Set Name along with additional details

  3. Click "Next"

  4. Click "Save"

Edit business rule

  1. Click "Edit"-icon

  2. Click "Save"

Test business rule

  1. Click business rule

  2. Hover over trigger in rule setup

  3. Click "Run business rule"-icon

Copy business rule

  1. Click "Copy"-icon

  2. Set Name

  3. Click "Confirm"

Delete business rule

  1. Click "Delete"-icon

  2. Confirm deletion

Bulk delete business rules

  1. Select the business rules you want to delete

  2. Click "Delete business rules"-icon

  3. Confirm deletion

Swap to grid view

Click "Grid"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+g

Swap to table view

Click "Table"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+h

Manage columns

  1. Click "Manage columns"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+c

  2. Manage columns

  3. Click "Update columns"
