Welcome to Struct PIM 4

Struct PIM 4 comes with a new slick and streamlined user interface. This means all the features that you know and love have been moved around and new features have been added.

Relearning how to efficiently work in Struct PIM can feel like a daunting task and this guide seeks to make this relearning journey faster. On this page you will learn how to find the features that already existed in Struct PIM 3 and the new features that are unique to Struct PIM 4.

Where can I find x feature?

Dashboard

1. Click 'Struct'-icon or 'Dashboard'-button on the top toolbar

Search

Search for entities:

  1. Click 'PIM'-button on the top toolbar

Search for media:

  1. Click 'Media'-button on the top toolbar

Tasks

1. Click 'Task'-icon on the top toolbar

Global lists

Edit global list values:

  1. Click 'PIM'-button on the top toolbar

  2. Clicking 'Global Lists' in the left toolbar

  3. From here you can find the global list value you wish to edit.

Manage global lists or update their data models:

  1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar

  2. Click 'Global Lists' in the left toolbar

  3. Click 'Global Lists' in the 'Data models' menu.

Product catalogues and categories

Sort, search, create, copy or update categories:

  1. Click 'PIM'-button on the top toolbar

  2. Click 'Product catalogues' in the left toolbar

  3. Choose the catalogue containing the category

  4. Right-click a category

Manage catalogues or update their data models:

  1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar

  2. Click 'Data models' in the left toolbar

  3. Click 'Catalogues' in the 'Data models' menu.

Collections

Collections have been removed in Struct PIM 4.

Background tasks

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Maintenance' in the left toolbar 3. Click 'Background tasks' in the 'Maintenance & Insights' menu

Import

1. Click 'Import'-icon on the top toolbar

Publication

1. Click 'Publications' in the top toolbar

Product structures

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Data models' in the left toolbar 3. Click 'Product structures' in the 'Data models' menu

Attributes

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Data models' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'Attributes' in the 'Data models' menu

Attribute groups

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Data models' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'Attribute groups' in the 'Data models' menu

Attribute scopes

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Data models' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'Attribute scopes' in the 'Data models' menu

Dimensions

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Data models' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'Dimensions' in the 'Data models' menu

Enrichment insights

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Data governance' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'Enrichment insights in the 'Data governance' menu

Business rules

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Data governance' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'Business rules' in the 'Data governance' menu

Changelog

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Maintenance' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'System changelog' in the 'Maintenance & Insights' menu

Workflows

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Data governance' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'Workflows' in the 'Data governance' menu

Api Configuration

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Integration' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'API configuration' in the 'Integration' menu

Webhooks

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Integration' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'Webhooks' in the 'Integration' menu

Messaging (Azure service bus)

1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar 2. Click 'Integration' on the left toolbar 3. Click 'Azure Service Bus' in the 'Integration' menu

Security

1. Click 'User management' on the top toolbar 2. Toggle between users, roles and user groups on the left toolbar

Setup

Setup has been split into their own categories.

General:

Supplier portal email:

Supplier portal email is a work in progress in PIM 4.

Archive reasons:

  1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar

  2. Click 'General' on the left toolbar

  3. Click 'Archive reasons' in the 'General settings' menu

Scheduled tasks:

Scheduled tasks has been removed.

Attribute indexing:

  1. Click 'Settings'-button on the top toolbar

  2. Click 'General' on the left toolbar

  3. Click 'Attribute indexing' in the 'General settings' menu

User settings:

  1. Click 'User Management'-button on the top toolbar

  2. Click 'User groups' on the left toolbar

  3. Click user group to change settings for

Permission management

Permissions:

  3. Click 'Permissions' in the 'General settings' menu

Permission groups:

Languages

Maintenance

License

License will be available in the new accounts system. Read more about this system under "What new features have been added?"

Accounts

The new accounts system will be available soon where each user can login and see the current state of the system regarding users, license and resources. More information will come at a later point.
