How to set up and edit a workflow
A guide to setting up and editing workflows
How to set up a workflow
To start setting up a new workflow, click the “Create workflow”-button in the top right corner of the Workflows page.

This will present you with the Workflow settings page.

When creating a workflow, you must choose a unique alias and label. When you are satisfied with the alias and label click "Next".

Next you need to define the states in your workflow. To do this, click the “New State”-button in the center of the screen and define the alias, label and color for your workflow state.

Set up state example
Below is an example of what a state could look like when created. It has been given the alias "Draft" to clarify the current status of entities that are assigned this state.
When naming the three properties, we recommend keeping the unique alias and label identical and descriptive. Examples of this are "Draft", "Published" and "Discontinused". This will help make it obvious where in the process an entity is.
The "Draft" state would be used to keep track of items in their initial phase, often containing only minimal data.

After having set up the state, we click "Update state"-button and continue to build on this example of a workflow. We end up having a collection of states that together make up a workflow and its stages.

How to edit a workflow
To edit your workflow, hover over the workflow you want to edit. A symbol will appear to the far right of the workflow. To edit a state or transition from the state, click on the
symbol which will present you with general settings where you can edit the state or transitions.
To delete a workflow simply click the "Trash can"-icon when hovering over the workflow. If you delete a state inside the workflow all transitions related to the state will have the state removed from the transition.
