# How to create and use Saved Searches

Learn how to create, organize, and manage Saved Searches for quick access to frequently used search results.

This short tutorial goes through the basics of creating and managing Saved Searches, allowing you to quickly access frequently used search results without recreating the same search criteria every time.

### Access Saved Searches

To open Saved Searches, click the Saved Searches icon in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.

### Create a Saved Search

Perform a search in the PIM using the filters or search fields that match the results you are looking for. Once you are satisfied with the search results, click the Save search button.

Enter a name for your Saved Search and choose whether to save it under My Saved Searches or Shared Saved Searches. Click Save to finish creating the search.

### My Saved Searches vs Shared Saved Searches

When saving a search, you can choose between two locations:

#### My Saved Searches

* Only visible to you.
* Ideal for personal workflows and frequently used searches.

#### Shared Saved Searches

* Availiable to other users with access.
* Can be used on Shared Dashboards, making them useful for the team collaboration.

A Saved Search cannot be changed from privat to shared (or vice versa) after it has been created. Make sure you choose the correct location when saving the search.

### Use a Saved Search

Click any Saved Search to instantly apply its filters and open the matching search results.&#x20;

### Edit or Rename a Saved Search

Right-click a Saved Search to access additional options. From here you can:

* Edit the search query.
* Rename the Saved Search.
* Delete the Saved Search.
* Enable the Saved Search for the Timeline widget.

After editing the search query, click Save query to apply your changes.

### Organize Saved Searches&#x20;

As your collection of Saved Searches grows, folders make it easier to stay organized.

Create folders and subfolders to group related searches, then drag and drop Saved Searches into the appropriate folder for easier navigation.

Folders can also be renamed or deleted at any time by right-clicking them.
