# Permissions

You can manage permissions through [Settings](/reference/settings.md) > [General](/reference/settings/general.md) > [Permissions](/reference/settings/general/permissions.md).

### View permissions

Permissions are shown directly in the permissions page.

### Find permission

1. Click column header for Name, Description, Permission group or Is system permission
2. Type value to search for

### Add a new permission

1. Click "+ Create permission"
2. Set Name, Description and Permission group
3. Click "Save"

### Edit permission

1. Click "Edit"-icon
2. Modify permission details
3. Click "Save"

### Delete permission

1. Click "Delete"-icon
2. Confirm deletion

### Swap to grid view

Click "Grid"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+g

### Swap to table view

Click "Table"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+h

### Manage columns

1. Click "Manage columns"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+c
2. Manage columns
3. Click "Update columns"
