# File template

You can manage file templates through [Settings](/reference/settings.md) > [General](/reference/settings/general.md) > [File template](/reference/settings/general/file-template.md).

### View file templates

File templates are shown directly in the File template page.

### Find file template

1. Click column header for Name or others
2. Type value to search for

### Add a new file template

1. Click "+ Create file template"
2. Set Name and Entity type along with additional [details](/reference/settings/general/file-template/file-template-details.md)
3. Click "Save"

### Edit file template

1. Click "Edit"-icon
2. Modify the [file template details](/reference/settings/general/file-template/file-template-details.md)
3. Click "Save"

### Copy file template

1. Click "Copy file template"-icon
2. Set Name
3. Click "Copy"

### Bulk copy file templates

1. Select the file templates you want to copy
2. Set Name for each
3. Click "Copy" for each

### Delete file template

1. Click "Delete"-icon
2. Confirm deletion

### Bulk delete file templates

1. Select the file templates you want to delete
2. Click "Delete file templates"-icon
3. Confirm deletion

### Swap to grid view

Click "Grid"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+g

### Swap to table view

Click "Table"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+h

### Manage columns

1. Click "Manage columns"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+c
2. Manage columns
3. Click "Update columns"
