Display settings

Display settings determine how an entity is named in the PIM. The naming consists of a name pattern and one or more properties.

Thumbnail

A media attribute which can be used to generate a thumbnail for item.

Display name

Configure how names shall be shown, by defining a pattern and one or more attributes. Use the pattern to dictate how attribute values should be used to render the name. Use {0}, {1}, {2} etc. to indicate in the pattern where you want the selected attributes you choose to be rendered.

Name attribute

The attributes used to display the naming in PIM.

Name pattern

Name pattern dictates how property values should be used to render the name. Use {0} to indicate the first property in Name attributes, then {1} to indicate the second one and so on. Can also contain symbols and alphanumeric characters.
