Struct PIM’s media archive streamlines your digital asset management by allowing users to organize, tag, and filter files within a flexible environment.

The Media page in Struct PIM serves as the central hub for storing and managing assets needed for product management. It excels in both high-level organization and detailed control of the assets crucial to your product experiences.


What can you do with media

  • Media archive: Serves as a single source of truth for all digital assets including images, videos, and documents.

  • Organizing assets: Organizing assets be placing them in asset folders to enhance user experience and overview, when working with larger collections of assets.

  • Tagging assets: Tags can be added to assets in order to enhance management of assets.


Media Walkthrough

Media layout

The main media page consists of an overview of assets in the PIM's media bank. Here you can organize, manage and filter assets. On the side panel you will also be presented with the option to search for assets based on filters, view global lists, and view asset folders.

View assets

View and search for assets in the internal media bank.

Find asset

  1. Click the "Search for..." search bar above the assets.

  2. Type value to search for.

  1. Click the "Search for..." search bar above the assets.

  2. Type value to search for.

  3. Click the "Save search"-button to the right of the search bar.

  4. Create saved search.

  5. Click the "Save"-button when done.

View folders

  1. Click the "Folders"-button in the side panel to open the asset folders tab.

View global lists

  1. Click the "Global Lists"-button in the side panel to open the global lists tab.

Filter assets

  1. Click the "Search"-button in the side panel to open the filters tab.

Edit asset

  1. Hover the mouse over the asset and click the "pencil-line"-button to open the edit asset page.

Advanced filter

  1. Click the "filter"-icon in the top right of the screen to be shown the advanced filter display.

Quick export assets

  1. Select the assets to export or leave empty to export all.

  2. Click "Quick export".

Manage columns

  1. Click "Manage columns"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+c.

  2. Manage columns.

  3. Click "Update columns".

Items per page

  1. Click the drop down next to the "Items per page:"-text top right above the assets.

  2. Select assets per page.

  1. Click the "chevron-left" and "chevron-right" icons to navigate back and foward a page. The icons are located to the right above the assets.

Swap to grid view

  1. Click "Grid"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+g.

Swap to table view

  1. Click "Table"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+h.

Select all Assets

  1. Click the "square-full"-icon to the left above the assets to select all assets.

  2. Additionally you can click the "chevron-down"-icon next to it and choose between select "All on this page" or "None on this page".

Bulk update

  1. Select the assets to be updated in bulk.

  2. Click "Bulk update"-icon above the assets to the left. The icon appears when selecting assets.

  3. Select field to update on all selected items.

  4. Choose operation type and enter the changes.

  5. Click the "Show update report"-button in the buttom right. You can also click the "chevron-up"-icon and confirm changes without reviewing.

  6. Confirm changes.

Bulk export assets

  1. Select the assets you want to export.

  2. Click "Export"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+alt+e.

  3. Select fields to export.

  4. Click "Start export".

Bulk translate assets

  1. Select the assets you want to translate.

  2. Follow instructions from the AI Assistant.

Create task with assets attached

  1. Select the assets you want to attach to a new task.

  2. Click "Create task"-icon or use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+alt+t.

  3. Click "Create task".

Bulk move Assets

  1. Select the assets you want to move.

  2. Select the "More actions"-icon and click the "Move"-button.

  3. Select Asset folder.

  4. Click the "Move"-button.

Bulk delete Assets

  1. Select the assets you want to delete.

  2. Select the "More actions"-icon and click the "Delete"-button.

  3. Click the "Delete"-button to confirm.
