File mappings

File mappings allow users to define how data fields are mapped between external files (such as Excel) and the PIM system. This process ensures that data is accurately imported or exported.

You can add and update File mappings through Settings > File mappings.

Add a new file mapping

1. Click "Create new"

2. Set Name and Type along with additional details

3. Click "Save changes"

Edit file mapping

1. Click "Edit"-icon

2. Modify file mapping details

3. Click "Save changes"

Copy file mapping

1. Click "Copy"-icon

2. Set Name

3. Click "Copy file mapping"

Delete file mapping

1. Click "Delete"-icon

2. Confirm deletion
