# Identifiers

### Add an identifier to entity

Add an identifier for either product, variant group and variant.

1. Click "Add \[entity] identifier" on the Identifiers page
2. Set alias, pattern and properties
3. Click "Save changes"

### Edit identifiers on entity

1. Change the alias, pattern or properties value of the identifier you wish to edit
2. Click "Save changes"

### Delete identifiers on entity

1. Click the "Trash can"-icon of the identifier you wish to delete
2. Click "Save changes"
