# August 2026
As summer reaches its peak, we’ve focused on streamlining data management and powering up your workflow flexibility. This month’s update is all about precision, control, and smarter automation.
From expanding search capabilities to asset file names to introducing custom unique ID generators with customizable ranges, we’re providing greater accuracy and control across your entire catalog.
We’ve also added Grid Edit support for list attributes to accelerate bulk updates and introduced the truncate math function in Business Rules for cleaner data calculations. August’s enhancements are built to keep your PIM environment efficient, precise, and effortlessly manageable.
### Grid edit support for list attributes
Managing multi-select data just got much faster. You can now use Grid Edit to update list attributes directly within your product list views.
This allows you to manage multiple values in bulk across large product volumes without opening individual product cards, drastically reducing repetitive manual data entry.
### Asset file name search in PIM search
Finding the exact assets linked to your products is now effortless.
PIM search has been expanded so that asset file names are completely searchable across all Asset Reference Attributes. Whether you need to locate specific images, PDFs, or technical documents, you can query by the raw file name to find associated product records instantly.

### Custom unique ID generator for attributes
Maintain higher data integrity and automate system-wide identifier logic. You can now enable a unique ID generator specifically for attributes and define exact numerical or alphanumeric ranges.
This ensures every generated ID remains globally unique across your Struct PIM setup.

### Truncate math function in business rules
Take greater control over complex calculations within your automated data workflows. Business Rules now support a dedicated `truncate` math function, allowing you to drop fractional decimal values or clamp specific numbers without rounding up.
This makes it easier to clean up calculated pricing, technical specifications, or dimension outputs before publishing.

**Fun Fact: Camels Can Drink Like Tadej Pogačar After a Mountain Stage**\
If there were a Tour de France for desert animals, the camel would probably be wearing yellow.\
Camels are built for extreme endurance. After going without water for a long time, a thirsty camel can drink around **100 litres of water in just 10 minutes.**\
That is roughly **10 litres per minute** — or about **130 cycling bottles** in the time it takes most of us to finish a coffee.\
The really clever part? A camel's hump is **not a water tank**.\
It stores **fat**.\
That fat acts as an energy reserve when food is scarce, while the rest of the camel's body is designed to conserve water as efficiently as possible.\
Wide feet help it move across soft sand. Long eyelashes and closable nostrils protect it from dust. And its body can tolerate changes in temperature that would make most animals start sweating much sooner.\
In other words, the camel doesn't survive the desert by carrying everything it might need.\
It survives by being **extremely well adapted to the environment it works in**. :dromedary\_camel::desert:
